The Fishing Cellars

Inspiring Cornish Shoot Location

Perched above the westernmost shores of Cornwall’s Mounts Bay stands The Fishing Cellars – a cliff top stone building, in a croft style surrounded by National Trust land.

This unique location is now available for photo shoots and film.

Originally built in the 19th century as a simple place to provide shelter for the fishermen and a store to cure pilchards from the seas and beach below, it has now been sensitively brought into a 21st century setting.

Natural wools and linens, whitewashed stone walls and a neutral colour palette give this dwelling a calm and organic interior style.

The two floors comprise snug, bathroom and dramatic kitchen whilst upstairs the three rooms culminate in The Long Room with a large glazed window and a ‘Birds Eye’ seating area for the finest sunset and coastal views.

The property is surrounded by naturally unspoilt cliff and terraced dry stone walls which provide a perfect backdrop to the cove below.

Mains electrics and water.

Access across a field for vehicles or on foot along the coastal footpath.
